Two inter-connected courses: a chamber music workshop for strings and piano, and a coaching seminar for teachers.
ENSEMBLES: On Saturday and Sunday you will be coached by members of the Jupiter String Quartet, and by Gillian Rogell in masterclasses, and on Friday you will rehearse, attend masterclasses, and meet with Dr. Goldberg (and other coaches to be determined). There is a concert on Sunday for those groups who would like to perform. You are welcome to attend all coachings and masterclasses when you are not rehearsing with your group. Note: Pre-established groups are preferred, but individual players are also welcome, and should contact Gillian Rogell at gillian@heartofchambermusic.net.
COACHES: You will meet with Gillian Rogell, the creator of the innovative DVD, At the Heart of Chamber Music, in a seminar/masterclass format combining discussion, demonstration, and some "hands-on" coaching experience. You are welcome to observe the Jupiter Quartet as they coach the groups.
FOR ALL: Other activities include optional yoga classes and optional evening chamber music jams. (Coaches, bring your instruments!)
